The closure of the road on the eastern side of the Lake at Lennox Head has been controversial.  However, since the closure this space has really proven to be extremely popular with people of all ages and capabilities.  Design Team Ink was involved with preparation of concept designs for the incorporation of a new pathway and landscaping to the eastern side of Lake Ainsworth following closure of the road.  Design Team Ink also assisted Council’s Engineering department to manage the many constraints (environmental, flooding, services, bushfire and emergency access) and develop an outcome which complements the casual and relaxed lifestyle of the Lennox Head locality.  The hardscape works have been completed and the supplementary and shade tree planting works are yet to be completed by Council.
