Project Description

North Byron Parklands is home to the “Splendor in the Grass” music festival.  The site is exquisite and consists of many different character landscapes. Design team ink was involved in preparation of site planning, landscape design and visual assessment for the initial environmental assessment prepared in response to the specific Director-General’s Environmental Assessment Requirements for this application.  This major project involved collating and mapping extensive data on known site constraints from consultant reports, working with the client and project team to develop site master plans for many event sizes and types, preparation of conceptual designs for landscaping works around proposed gateways and areas of built form and undertaking an assessment of visual impacts.
